99 percent HEPA filter helps capture common airborne particles such as dust, pollen, tobacco smoke, cat dander and mold spores. The Odor-Lock carbon filter helps remove common household odors from the air that passes through the filter and the Protec antimicrobial treatment helps prevent mold growth on the filter. Filter should be replaced approximately every six months. Designed for use with air cleaner models: Honeywell 16200 and Vicks V9070, V9071 and Holmes Air Purifier models: HAP240, HAP243, HAP244, HAP246, HAP260, HAP260B, HAP440, HAP2404, HAP2604, HAP2604B and HE3001. Overall particle reduction is dependent on many factors, including the amount of air processed, the pollutant type and the pollutants' introduction rate into the environment.
